The weather was perfect and flowers were in bloom. The gardens at the Vanderbilt were recently replanted by their amazing volunteers, it was absolutely perfect!
Emma had turned 16 a few months ago, she never wanted a party so decided to take a wonderful vacation with her family to Hawaii. I like the way she thinks! There was only one thing missing, the beautiful gown. Emma is stunning to begin with, the dress complimented her beauty even more.
We had fun walking through the grounds of the Vanderbilt, locating all of the perfect spots for her portraits. Billy, Emma’s younger brother, even put on a tuxedo to celebrate and support his sisters special day.
It’s been over 12 years that I have been photographing Emma, such a delight to witness her growing into the beautiful and polite young lady that she is.
