I had the pleasure of photographing the “Wine Under the Stars” event this year for the Huntington Historical Society held at the Kissam House on Park Avenue. It was a beautiful evening for a fundraiser. The honorees were Hoffman and Grayson Architects. A beautiful cake was made for them by Reinwald’s Bakery in Huntington. Wine was donated by Bottles and Cases and Joanina Wine Shop Enoteca. A nice addition this year was craft beer by Blind Bat Brewery. Unfortunately since I was photographing the event I didn’t get to sample any of the wonderful Spirits or food! Darn! The food looked amazing! The line for each of the restaurants were long and worth the time waiting. Everyone I spoke to was thrilled with all of the food and choices. Christopher’s was there along with Bee-ORGANIC, California Pizza, Kerber’s Farm, CREW, The Culinary Studio, Jeff’s Surf and Turf, The Shamrock, IMC, HONU,Bon Bons Chocolatier and TOA.
A big round of applause for all of these wonderful businesses that DONATED their food and services. Please make sure you acknowledge their great gesture the next time you dine at their restaurant, buy a bottle of wine or have a cold brew!
